“take a rain check”
字面意思是“拿一張雨票”，為什么會是“改天、下一次”的意思呢？這個短語的起源是出自美國的棒球文化，如果球賽進行時天公不作美，驟然傾盆大雨的不得不暫停，觀眾可領“雨票”，或用原票存根作為“雨票”（rain check），球賽改期舉行時可憑之入場。由此衍生出了將“take a rain check”使用在約定推遲的情況下

With your help, litter is avoided. → no littering (less inspirational-sounding, but also less of a nonsense-trap)

3-meter clearance (assuming this is the entrance to a tunnel or the road going under a bridge) (if not, and freakishly tall people are being prohibited from riding a roller coaster, for example, then “height limit: 3 meters”)
