On the afternoon of December 11, the Saudi-Beijing Joint Business Council Meeting, co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing) and the Saudi-China Business Council, was held in Beijing. More than 50 Saudi companies, including Ajlan & Bros Holding Group, engaged in extensive discussions with over 70 Beijing-based technology companies to explore cooperation opportunities in various fields, such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, financial services, engineering design, and product trade.
"With AI trucks as the flagship products, our company has nearly two decades of experience in autonomous driving research, specializing in logistics and transportation scenarios," said Yang Fuqiang, Assistant to Chairman of Trunk. In addition to providing a brief introduction of the company, he also expressed a desire to collaborate with Saudi new energy and infrastructure companies in areas such as docks and logistics parks. Other Beijing companies including Huibo Robotics, Dongsheng Zhilian, UISEE, Neusoft Medical, and Neolix also engaged in discussions with their Saudi counterparts. The face-to-face business council meeting effectively facilitated closer ties between the two sides.
Recent years have witnessed extensive cooperation between Beijing and Saudi Arabia in investment and trade, which has yielded fruitful results. The meeting aims to further enhance exchanges and cooperation between enterprises from both sides, attract Saudi investments to Beijing, and help Beijing enterprises expand their global presence, thereby enabling a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.
Ali Othman, Deputy Head of the Saudi Arabia Embassy in China; Mohammed A. Al Ajlan, Chairman of Saudi-China Business Council; and Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, attended and addressed the meeting.
