Geomat is a new type of geosynthetic material made by melting and laying a mesh with tangled threads. It has high pressure resistance, high pore density, and comprehensive water collection and horizontal drainage functions. Geomats can not only drain water, but also discharge biogas generated by fermentation in soil (especially garbage waste), making them particularly suitable for use in landfills. After composite with non-woven geotextile, the geomat can collect rainwater that has infiltrated the soil cover layer or sewage discharged from the yard itself under the buried closed cover layer. By utilizing its unique drainage function, it can be discharged in an orderly manner from the interlayer of the geotextile mat according to engineering requirements without forming siltation. Therefore, it can avoid possible sliding problems caused by soil cover saturation due to water absorption. Application of Geomat: Scope of application of Geomat: 1) Reinforcement and drainage of road and railway subgrade shoulders; 2) Drainage of tunnels, subway underground passages, and underground freight yards; 3) Soil and water conservation for hillside and slope development; 4) Vertical and horizontal drainage along various retaining walls; 5) Drainage on slippery surfaces; 6) Drainage of ash piles in thermal power plants. Drainage of landfill engineering; 7) Drainage of rest green spaces such as sports fields, golf courses, baseball fields, football fields, parks, etc; 8) Drainage of rooftop gardens and flower beds; 9) Construction drainage of building foundation engineering; 10) Underground irrigation and drainage systems for agriculture and horticulture; 11) Drainage system of low-lying tidal wetlands.
